Default login vb 4.0.2

Hi,
i use the bridge with msi engine for joomla 1.5.15 and vb 4.0.2 PL1. I followed the instructions for installation and I am sure you have done everything that was written. Upon logging into joomla, vb when I go on I find myself logged. Do I have another login for open enuove discussions or do anything else. Also with the change you indicated on the log of VB and the result is always the word "enter" and "registration". Only disappears when you log in with vb. Here's a screen:

The login was done by joomla and if heald on "enter" tells me I am already logged.

Once you have logged in from Joomla forum should not longer appear on the "enter" and "registered" but "logout" and I can post without login .... more

If you installed properly, you will be logged in both Joomla and vB. In order to check this, you must make sure you are able to login with MSI Login Module on Joomla side and make sure Joomla and VB have the same records in MSI Engine BackEnd -> Synchronize section.

Also, could you give your site URL to check with?

Thank you,

you are automatically logged on MSI and are registered either on vb that on joomla, but when you try to start a new thread make you login again from vb. Try registering as a new user and make a new post on the forum so you understand what I say.

The problem might caused by cookie domain name, please use the same domain type on your site.

Joomla should always uses full URL: http://www.omaha-mode.com/aaaa/
vBulletin should always uses full URL: http://www.omaha-mode.com/aaaa/forums
MSI engine config file should uses full URL with "www" prefix on all config.php files.

Also, vBulletin Cookies domain name setting should use ".omaha-mode.com", you can set this at vB ACP -> Options -> Cookies section

Kind regards,

Configurations msi I put this:
$msiCFG['cookieDomain'] = '.omaha-mode.com';
$msiCFG['cookiePath'] = '/';

same thing about configuring msicore (joomla root and root vb). All three have the same config. correct?

Cookies I put them on the forum "/"

Users can automatically log on the site or the forum, there is a problem. From this error:

Your password is 14,680 days old and therefore has expired.
Please change your password using this page.

This error gives it to all users, and even if we change password always this error, passoword is changed correctly, but the result is the same. When the form of the last public forum and click on the last post I have always this error.

have serious problems, I stopped the site ....

Password expired waring is new feature since vB 3.8.x, all members must update their password if it is not too old. MSI Engine will import members from other system to vB4 and create password expired time with current time it stored, however, it seems that it was not stored properly and it requires members update their password again.

At first, please using Phpmyadmin to check vB4_user table if all records have properly time (2010 year). If it does not show right time please let us know.

Second, we had checked on our MSI vBbulletin Plugin, it has a little bug which will not update Password expired time when member use UserCP form in order to change their password, please email to support{at}bbpixel.com to get the patch for it.

(Excuse my English, but I'm using a translator)

ll Write in detail what I did is what are the problems.
Initially I cloned my site in a sub folder to do the tests link between joomla and vbulletin. I downloaded your version of bridge and follow all the steps.

Specifically:

Modified config.php Folders "core", "joomla", "vb" the bridge is used in all three of the same parameters. Installed the plugin on joomla and synchronized all users via msi engine. In the guidance of VB was not shown to install the plugin bbpixel, but stopped to change the login templates vb. So I have not installed.

Result:

Users were properly synchronized. When I login with joomla and go to the forum I found myself forced out and if I had to put something on me vbulletin forum reworked to login with his form and then I could do anything quietly. I had no other errors. Only a problem of double login failed and when I click on "enter" the forum would not open the login window of MSI in the lightbox, but in a new window.
I had already thought about how to resolve the problem by making a few changes, in fact I've made just did everything in the root of the site.

I decide to apply any changes to root.

Redo the procedure and i realize that there is a bridge plugin folder vb dimension that was not in the guide. I thought it was an oversight and then install it. Now when I login via joomla, I was also logged on the forum and login the forum opened with the effect lightbox. Everything seemed to go well!
Things have deteriorated considerably. Now ask me to update the password because it was 14,680 days old and if they do not change password does not allow me to browse the forum. Change passowrd and tells me that the password was changed successfully, in fact, the changes vbulletin but I always said that even if the old password was changed. This problem with all users who have helped me to do the tests. Then I decide to change a category. Salvo and I are a set of PHP errors with the result that all the categories and posts have been deleted. Then you can disable the plugin and the entire board appears with a white screen and error php.
Decides to change the category on the site also cloned, and I made the change without any problem. All these errors and problems started when I imported the MSI in VB (why not a plugin, but a product).

Now I to do?

Summary that we have problem on Password expired time, so please use PHPmyadmin to check "passworddate" field in vb_user table. If all members were imported properly, they will have the latest time, for example with 2010 year value.

As our confirmation above, it has problem when you edit password by MSI Engine, it will not update password expired time. So, please email to support{at}bbpixel.com to get the fixed patch files (you can refer this thread in email request too).

About your white screen problem, we guess that it might have mistake when you enable/disable MSI Engine Product in vB Product manager.

In the case problem still remain, you can give us your temp ftp, vB admin account to check with (by send us email).

Thank you,
